​Hani Ashqar is the current Direct of University Development in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). His previous roles included head of revenue strategy and business development. Mr. Hani is the Founder and CEO of Vision Consultancy Firm, and is a member of the executive board of Saudi Arabia General Investment Authority (SAGIA), and a board member of Al Watania Company. He received his Bachelors in industrial engineering from the University of Central Florida, and followed up with a Master's degree in industrial engineering from the University of South Florida. ​
