Dr. Periyadan completed his postdoctoral study in the USA after completing Ph.D. and Master's degrees in India in Marine Biology. He has more than 25 years research experience in marine environmental studies and marine fisheries covering the geographical regions such as the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, Arabian Gulf, Red Sea and Puget Sound (Washington, USA). Currently, he is working as Research Scientist I/ Professor in the Marine Studies Section of Center for Environment and Water, Research Institute, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
