Research Interests

Lucy Fitzgerald is interested in early life history and pelagic larval duration of fishes and cephalopods. In the past, she used otolith microscopy to assess the age and growth of larval blue marlin in Cuba. She hopes to use otolith microscopy and genetic parentage analysis to research endemic fish in the Red Sea.
