Research Interests

I have always been fascinated with coral reefs; coming to KAUST as a student introduced me to genomics and how we can use these tools to better understand the reef ecosystem. My PhD project focuses on the effects of climate change on coral reef fish and how these changes might be passed on to future generations. To do this we are using next generation sequencing to look at the transcriptomes and proteomes of fish exposed to different temperatures and pH levels.
