Research Interests

He is interested in microbial nitrogen cycling processes in Cnidarian holobionts. This includes the role of these processes (esp. nitrogen fixation) in ‘healthy’ and ‘disturbed’ Cnidarian hosts. In particular, he is looking into the effects of climate change on the nature of interactions between the host and its associated microbes.
