Research Interests

As a marine pelagic ecologist my main research interests is the ecology of the recruitment of fish, focusing in the swimming and foraging behaviour. As a result of this I have a passion for population connectivity and also for aquaculture research. Right now I am working in microbial oceanography and ecology, more specific the role of planktonic microbes in pelagic food webs and biogeochemical cycling.
