Research Interests

Kiana's previous research focused on the spiny lobster fishery in Cuba, using GIS to analyze density distributions of larval samples. I am interested in using interdisciplinary approaches to better inform management decisions. Specific topics include sustainable fisheries, ecological indicators, anthropogenic stressors, population connectivity, and biodiversity.
