Research Interests

Dr. Patel's research interest includes diverse fields of chemical sciences, chemical biology, sensors, and fabrication of magnetic nanoparticles. Dr. Patel is also interested in studying microbiologically influenced corrosion and sulfur cycling in offshore/terrestrial pipelines. As an analytical chemist, he is intrigued by the determination of individual chemical parameters in the marine environment.
