Associate Prof. Kylie Pitt: Talk title "Environmental drivers of jellyfish blooms"
BIO: Dr. Kylie Pitt is an Associate Professor in the Griffith School of Environment and leader of the Griffith Sea Jellies Research Lab at Griffith University, Australia. Her research focuses on understanding population dynamics, trophic ecology and the positive and negative effects of anthropogenic activities on jellyfish populations. She studies a diverse range of taxa, ranging from benign species that barely sting, through to the notorious and dangerous 'Irukandji' jellyfish.
