​​​​​Red Sea Research Scientists and professors from the Faculty of Marine Sciences at King Abdulaziz University, led by Prof. Adnan Turki, Dean of the Faculty, met to advance towards a research program "Red Sea gradients" aimed at advancing knowledge of the Red Sea as a contribution to the UN's International Indian Ocean Expedition 2.​​​
