Alkiviadis Kalampokis, Ph.D.

Research Interests

Dr. Alkiviadis Kalampokis is a physicist, with a background in complex systems. His research interests focus on the physical properties of the Ocean, and include Operational Oceanography and Observational Oceanography. He has worked with multiparametric observational platforms, including HF-Radars, gliders, buoys and drifters to monitor variables such as currents, waves, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen and Chl-a. He also participates in oceanographic cruises, field measurements, sampling and instrument deployments.
