Research Interests

Eleonora has always been fascinated by the underwater world and she has undertaken the marine biology field in order to protect and conserve this delicate environment.

During her MSc. she focused on facilitation cascades and the role of facilitator species in buffering environmental stressors in temperate reefs.
Nevertheless, after witnessing the extreme beauty of the Great Barrier Reef and its fragility, she was committed to explore corals and coral reefs and contribute to their conservation and restoration in a rapidly changing world.
