My interests are centred on developing and implementing methods and technologies to conserve our most valuable marine resources. Corals and the reefs they form are a perfect example of one such resource. An innovative approach such as coral probiotics presents an opportunity to increase the resilience and resistance of these fragile organisms in the face of growing adverse environmental conditions. It is my aim to contribute to the understanding of the underlying mechanisms and interactions that dictate the success of such an approach.
