Research Interests

My Ph.D. research focuses on the investigation of fish acclimation to environmental stressors, both natural (e.g. changes in salinity) and anthropogenic (e.g. global warming).
Through transcriptome assembly and differentially expressed gene analysis between experimental conditions, I am exploring the molecular mechanisms that allow fish from the Red Sea and the Great Barrier Reef to cope with a changing environment.
