Research Interests

I am interested in studying plant-microbe and insect-microbe interactions in conventional and extreme environments. My aim is to dissect the ecological forces and mechanistic factors that determine the assembly of the microbial communities associated with the plant districts and insect gut and, ultimately, their functions.
