Research Interests

Dr. Sdena Nunes's main research area focuses on the application of chromatography to the study of Phytoplankton community structure combined with the use of the statistic program CHEMTAX. Her research at KAUST aims extracted pigments data from seawater samples and sediments core samples and the relationship between cell death and the high temperatures experienced by phytoplankton communities in the Red Sea.
